A MAN accused of arson and a weapons offence following a house fire on the Isle of Wight will go before a judge later this year.
Damon Wilkins, of Bettesworth Road, Haylands, appeared before Portsmouth magistrates yesterday (Monday, September 23).
The 26-year-old did not enter a plea and saw his case adjourned to November 11 at Portsmouth Crown Court.
He was remanded in custody until that date.
As previously reported, a man in his 20s was arrested on Ryde Esplanade and taken into custody following a house fire on Bettesworth Road, in the Haylands area.
