A road in Cowes was closed by Isle of Wight emergency teams this evening (Thursday, September 19) following a two-car crash.
Hampshire and IW Constabulary received reports of a collision on Mill Hill Road at around 9.30pm.
The crash, which involved a black Toyota and a white Volkswagen, happened at the notorious Victoria Road crossroad.
Southern Vectis reported the road as 'blocked' and its route 1 service between Cowes and Newport was temporarily diverted.
Both vehicles were moved on Victoria Road and safely removed from the scene by a crew from Bartletts Service Station.
The road is now fully open.
Southern Vectis services between Cowes and Newport have resumed the normal route.
Hampshire and IW Constabulary has been contacted for further comment.
