BEMBRIDGE RNLI Lifeboat in partnership with other coastguard rescue teams was called out following a report people in the sea were in difficulty.
Solent Coastguard also called out Bembridge and Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Teams to the Yaverland area of Sandown, at around 1.30pm yesterday (Wednesday, September 18).
A search from the shore by coastguard rescue officers, coupled with a shoreline search by Bembridge Lifeboat proved fruitless, with no persons located in difficulty.
