There are lengthy delays heading in and out of Newport on the Isle of Wight this afternoon (Tuesday).
On Fairlee Road, travelling towards the town, traffic is queued as far back as the Racecourse Roundabout.
Temporary traffic lights are in place on Fairlee, near the junction with Halberry Lane.
It's to allow for Openreach works to be carried out.
The closure of Station Road, Wootton is also having a knock-on effect.
Southern Water is carrying out emergency repairs on the route.
Traffic coming from Ryde cannot turn left at the lights by The Cedar pub, Wootton, meaning drivers are having to continue onto Lushington Hill and Fairlee.
Meanwhile, Blacklands Lane, Wootton — a cut through between Briddlesford Road and Staplers Road — is also closed.
It is shut for planned Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) repairs.
There are also delays on Staplers, heading into Newport, and the Dual Carriageway, coming from Cowes.
