Main Isle of Wight road one-way restriction for Garlic Festival

Newport Road (A3056) at Hale Common, the entrance to the Garlic Festival, will only be open for traffic heading towards Arreton, Island Roads has said.

The restriction is in place between Watery Lane, near The Fighting Cocks pub, and Winford Road at the Apse Heath crossroads.

Temporary traffic lights will also be active outside the Garlic Festival entrance.

Restrictions are in place from 9am on Saturday to 6pm on Sunday.
