Leeson Road in Ventnor will reopen to vehicles today (Wednesday), including buses.
As previously announced, the road will be open until September 9, when it will close for some further work.
The road has been closed since December 10, when a landslide happened suddenly at Smugglers Haven and the surrounding area.
Southern Vectis is resuming its previous bus service.
Route 3 will operate via Leeson Road, following the same route as before the road closure.
A Southern Vectis spokesperson said: "Please note the road will be monitored 24 hours a day and if there is any movement, the road will be closed again immediately.
"Customers from Wroxall/ Upper Ventnor will need to revert to catching the bus from the Ventnor-bound stops if travelling to Ventnor, Shanklin, Sandown, Brading, Ryde.
"Only those wishing to travel towards Godshill and Newport should use the Newport-bound stops."
The timetable on the website and app will be live from Thursday once the technological changes take place.
Island Coaster will continue on the current advertised route and will not go via Leeson Road.
School buses will revert to their original routes and timings while the road is open.
