There are just a few weeks left to buy early bird tickets to the eleventh Isle of Wight Jazz Weekend, featuring a UK exclusive performance for 2024, by Brazil's Daniela Soledade.

The singer is widely considered to be her country's best bossa nova style artist and will be joined by American guitarist Nate Najar for an intimate performance, at Newport Methodist Church.

The Isle of Wight Jazz Weekend 2024 runs between September 18 and 22.

Part of their European tour, the September 20 date will be their only UK appearance in 2024.

Top-class guitarist, the Island's own Sol Grimshaw, will return as a special guest of Dixieland and traditional jazz specialists, the Windy City Weatherbirds.

Sol and the seven-piece London-based band, featuring three brothers, should prove to be a big hit on Saturday, September 21.

Also playing on the Saturday are trumpeter/vocalist Georgina Jackson, from the Ronnie Scott's Jazz Orchestra, with her own band "Sass and Brass", and multiple award-winning saxophonist Tony Kofi, who brings his "Inside Straight" Cannonball Adderley tribute to Newport Minster.
