AN ISLE of Wight drink driver caught almost twice the legal limit has been banned from the road.
Emily Calvo, of Reed Street, Ryde, appeared before Isle of Wight magistrates on Tuesday, May 7.
The 26-year-old admitted drink driving in Ryde, on Brading Road, on April 20.
The court heard she registered a breath-alcohol reading of 64 when the legal limit is 35.
Calvo was fined £461 and disqualified from driving for 17 months.
She was also ordered to pay costs of £85 and a £184 surcharge.
