TWO crashes on a major Isle of Wight road have been causing traffic delays this afternoon (Thursday).
At around 5pm, police were called to The Downs Road, near its junction with Brading Down Road and Ashey Road, after a report of a two-vehicle crash.
No injuries were reported, said Hampshire and IW Constabulary.
Police helped with traffic control while the vehicles are recovered.
Meanwhile, a second crash was reported on the same road, moments later, near its junction with Lime Kiln Shute.
In that incident, a vehicle was damaged at the front, while a second was damaged at the back.
There was glass left on the road.
The road has since reopened.
