ISLAND Roads has closed a road near Niton this afternoon (Monday) following a landslip in the area.
Sandrock Road has been made subject of an immediate road closure.
This is between its junction with old Blackgang Road and its junction with Niton and Whitwell Footpath.
The closure is necessary, Island Roads says, to enable its workers to maintain network safety.
A considerable amount of debris has fallen onto the carriageway, partially covering a bus stop.
