With all the problems on the Isle of Wight regarding transport - the ferries, the trains, the floating bridge etc, I think it is time I put in a word for the unsung heroes of transport - the Southern Vectis bus drivers.
Despite road closures, floods and diversions, the drivers plough on and get little in the way of praise.
It is amazing that they manage to keep so close to the timetables despite the many obstacles that they encounter.
So I say three cheers for the Isle of Wight bus drivers.
