A ROAD in Ventnor will remain closed because collapsed walls haven't yet been repaired by the landowners.
Bath Road leads up from the seafront, past La Falaise car park, and up to Belgrave Road - coming out opposite the Royal Hotel.
But it has been closed since October, when a section of wall collapsed.
Access from the seafront up to the car park is still open, but the rest of the road is closed.

The County Press asked Island Roads and the Isle of Wight Council why the road has been closed for so long, and when it is likely to re-open.
Photos we took on Good Friday show the rubble from the wall completely blocking the carriageway.

A spokesperson from Island Roads said: "The road was closed last October following a collapse of private walls onto the highway. The walls, which retain the land above the highway, remain in an unsafe state.
"We are in liaison with the landowners seeking that they make the necessary repairs.
"We want to re-open the road as soon as it is safe to do so and as quickly as due process allows."
There is no indication as to when this will be.
Further up the road, cracks have appeared on the road and in more walls.
The spokesperson said: "We are also monitoring cracks that have appeared in Bath Road recently and will take whatever steps are necessary in order to maintain a safe network."
