AN ISLE of Wight woman has been banned from the road for failing to identify the driver of a Ford EcoSport on the mainland.
The case of Diane Pearce, of Field View, Ryde, was heard before Southampton magistrates on Thursday, March 21.
The 68-year-old was found guilty in absence of failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver/rider of a vehicle when required, in Fareham, on January 6 of last year.
The court heard she failed to identify the driver of a Ford EcoSport when that driver was suspected of committing an offence.
Pearce was fined £180 and disqualified from driving for six months.
Her driving record was endorsed with six penalty points, and she was ordered to pay costs of £110 and a £72 surcharge.
