AN ISLE of Wight man has been charged with theft.
Officers investigating a theft in Havenstreet have charged Timothy Young, of Spring Gardens, Ventnor, with shoplifting.
The theft was reported to police on the evening of February 22, after a man was alleged to have entered The Little Cow Shed and stole more than £50 worth of food.
The 56-year-old has been bailed, with conditions, to appear at Isle of Wight Magistrates’ Court on March 15.
