A popular Isle of Wight seaside summer event has announced it will return for its fourth year, promising a day filled with family-friendly entertainment and fun.

After two successful events at Sandham Gardens in Sandown, Deadpool Rob and Friends Summer Fun Day relocated to Ryde’s Eastern Gardens last year – raising an impressive £2,000 for charity.

Scheduled for Sunday, July 28, from 10am to 4pm, this year’s Summer Fun Day will once again transform Ryde seafront into a hub of excitement.

One of the event’s highlights is the presence of cosplayers, who will don their costumes, ranging from beloved superheroes to enchanting princesses.

The crew will be on hand to offer photo opportunities and interactive experiences throughout the day.

This year’s event will once again raise money in support of Breast Cancer Now.

Rob Munt, one of the event organisers and possibly better known as 'Deadpool Rob', said: “If you’ve been to one of our events in the past, you know there’s tons of fun to be had, amazing items to buy and loads of characters from superheroes to princesses to pose for pics with and interact with!

“Keep your eyes peeled for event updates soon... and we can’t wait to see you for our fourth year running!”
