An incident broke out at Newport Bus Station yesterday (Saturday), which eyewitnesses described as a "big fight" involving a large group of people.
Police were called at 6.06pm on to reports of an assault at the bus station, on Orchard Street.
Police said the incident involved a group of men and women.
Two people, a 26-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
