Coastguard rescue for injured woman in Newtown (Image: PA)
An injured woman had to be rescued in Newtown on the Isle of Wight this afternoon (Sunday).
HM Coastguard was called alongside the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
Needles and Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Teams were sent to the scene.
Crews were called just after 1pm.
A coastguard spokesperson said: "Once rescued, the casualty was transferred into the care of the ambulance service."
