AN ISLE of Wight man caught behind the wheel while more than three times the drink-drive limit has been banned from the road.
The case of Kris Kernaghan, of Newport Road, Cowes, was heard before Portsmouth magistrates on Tuesday, January 9.
The 32-year-old admitted drink driving in Portsmouth, on October 28 of last year.
The court heard he drove a BMW on Park Road and registered a breath-alcohol reading of 127 when the legal limit is 35.
Kernaghan was made subject of a 12-month community order, to include 150 hours unpaid work.
He was disqualified from driving for 29 months and ordered to pay costs of £85 and a £114 surcharge.
