WHEN you are out and about around the Isle of Wight this coming week, be sure to know which roadworks to avoid.

BRADING: Lower Road will shut during utility works, between its junction with Well Lane and Sheep Lane, from 8am on Monday until 4pm on Thursday, February 1.

NORTHWOOD: Pallance Road will close during utility works, between its junction with Cockleton Lane and a point 30m south-west thereof, from 9am on Monday until 4pm on Friday, January 19.

FRESHWATER: Copse Lane will shut during carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Church Place and Regina Road, over one shift sometime between Monday and Wednesday.

WHITWELL: Godshill Road will close during carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Southford Lane and Sheepwash Lane, over one shift sometime between Monday and Wednesday.

GODSHILL: Bathingbourne Lane will shut during carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Macketts Lane and Hale Common, over one shift sometime between Tuesday and Thursday.

LAKE: Medeway will close during carriageway repair works, along its entire length, over one shift sometime between Wednesday and Friday, January 19.

NEWCHURCH: Alverstone Road will shut during carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Skinners Hill and the Borthwood Lane access road, over one shift sometime between Wednesday and Friday, January 19.

NEWBRIDGE: Clay Lane will close during carriageway repair works, along its entire length, in one shift sometime between Wednesday and Friday, January 19.

BRIGHSTONE: Main Road will shut during arboriculture works, between its junctions with Moor Lane and Moortown Lane, over one shift sometime on Thursday.

HAVENSTREET: Newport Bridleway 16 will shut during utility works, between its junctions with Little Briddlesford and Great Briddlesford, from 8am on Monday until 4pm on Friday, January 19.
