A 56-year-old man believed to have been on the Isle of Wight remains missing, with emergency teams continuing efforts to find him.

Chetan Patel, from Slough, has been missing since late October, but police believe he may have been in the Shanklin area in early November 2023.

A police appeal to help find Chetan was launched in December.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary have confirmed that recent searches in Bembridge are in relation to ongoing efforts to locate Chetan.
