ISLE of Wight police made an arrest following a reported theft in Wootton yesterday morning (Thursday).
At around 10.30am, police were called to an address in Glebe Gardens.
They were responding to a report of a theft, and officers were told a quantity of cash had been stolen.
Police attended an address in Winston Road and arrested a 56-year-old woman from Newport on suspicion of theft and threatening to damage property.
She has since been released and will face no further action.
