It is not yet known when road closures in Bonchurch and Ventnor will be lifted, the Isle of Wight Council has said, as traffic disruption in the town continues.
The local authority is also warning Islanders to stay away from the landslide site at Bonchurch, and from the beach and foreshore below the landslide, "for their own safety".
On traffic disruption, it said it understands "the impact and disruption" it is "having on people’s lives and movements, and it is seeking to find solutions in a timely and safe manner."
Leeson Road, the main road between Ventnor and Shanklin, has been shut since a large landslip occurred at Bonchurch on Sunday night.

The following day, a road closure was put in place at The Graben, at Newport Road and Ocean View Road, due to a damaged sewer.
A dip appeared in the road and Southern Water is carrying out repairs.
Currently, it means traffic can only access Ventnor via Whitwell Road.
On Tuesday (12), Island Roads said it wanted a one-way system between Whitwell and Godshill.
For drivers, it means a lengthy diversion, with traffic leaving the town having to divert via Niton and Chale Green.
Today (Friday), the Isle of Wight Council said: "These traffic measures have been put in place to reflect the width of roads and the nature of the highways network in the area.
"We continue to work with Island Roads to understand the best way to manage traffic so roads can be used safely, and disruptions kept to a minimum."

A spokesperson said it hopes road restrictions can be removed as soon as possible and when safe to do so.
A statement said it also wants to reassure residents that all emergency services continue to have access to these areas.
Southern Vectis previously told the County Press its route 3 cannot serve the area and a shuttle service is in place between Ventnor and Godshill.
Simon Moye, Southern Vectis operations manager, said: “Our route 3 buses are turning at Wroxall temporarily, and we hope to get to Upper Ventnor once the parking restrictions are in place.
“We would also recommend, if in Newport, to catch the route 6 for direct journeys to Ventnor.”
