A man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage following a disturbance in Shanklin this afternoon (Wednesday, December 6).
Police were called just after 2pm after receiving reports of a disturbance at an address on Orchardleigh Road, between Shanklin High Street and St John's Road.
A Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary spokesperson told the County Press a door was damaged during the disturbance.
A 38-year-old man from Shanklin has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.
He remains in police custody at this time.
