An issue with the traffic lights at Snooks Hill, where Fairlee Road and Staplers Road join Coppins Bridge in Newport, has caused delays for Isle of Wight motorists this morning (Tuesday).
It meant the timing of the lights was not allowing traffic through in the usual way.
Engineers from Island Roads have made an adjustment, which should ease the hold-ups.
Later, they will be on site to check the lights in situ.
