Frontman of iconic SKA band Bad Manners has been pictured with staff at a popular Isle of Wight hotel and pub.

The Wheatsheaf Hotel, in St Thomas' Square, Newport, posted yesterday (Sunday), to say Buster Bloodvessel had been staying there.

He was photographed alongside Splodgenessabounds singer, Max Splodge and hotel supervisor, Claire Thompson.

Buster, whose real name is Douglas Trendle, was in Newport for his performance at Strings Bar and Venue.

He was supported by Max Splodge, who is best known for his hit, Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps Please.

They performed at the venue last night, as part of Bad Manners' Christmas 2023 tour.

Posting on Facebook, the Wheatsheaf said they were "fantastic, happy, lovely people".

The post said: "We have the best of the best staying.

"We are very proud to have the wonderful Bad Manners staying with us.
