The Red Jet service between Cowes and Southampton have resumed.

Passengers onboard an afternoon sailing from Southampton were turned back from Cowes and returned to the mainland when the Red Jet could not dock.

Meanwhile, Red Funnel's vehicle ferry from East Cowes has also been suspended.

Passengers onboard Red Osprey this evening are currently stranded, as the vessel remains off Cowes unable to dock on the Island.

In February 2021, Cowes Harbour Commission gave notice that it would not allow vessels 48 metres and above in length to navigate the harbour during 'restricted visibility'.

Red Funnel is expected to make an update regarding its passenger and vehicle services at 7pm.

Wightlink's Yarmouth to Lymington vehicle ferry has also been suspended until further notice.

Wightlink's Ryde Pier-Portsmouth Harbour FastCat service and its Fishbourne-Portsmouth vehicle ferry are both still running at this time.

Hovertravel will return from 7.15pm, after being suspended this afternoon.
