A man in 30s has been arrested on suspicion of drug offences after police searched a van on the Isle of Wight's dual carriageway this morning (Wednesday, November 29).
At around 11.25am, officers stopped a Ford Transit on Medina Way (Newport dual carriageway).
During a search of the vehicle, drugs equipment and some 'white powder' was found inside by police.
The driver, a 31-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
A spokesperson for the force said he remains in custody at this time.
