Residents were forced to evacuate a block of flats in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight after fire broke out.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to Dudley Road last night (Thursday).
Two appliances, one from Sandown Fire Station and another from Shanklin Fire Station, attended the scene.
A fire broke out in a second floor flat.
Crews managed to bring the blaze under control.
They were called just after 7.30pm.
