A flood alert remains for Isle of Wight river, the Eastern Yar, while water levels are high but falling slowly.
The update comes alongside new data which reveals 380mm of rain has been recorded at Knighton in the last 30 days - almost half (47 per cent) of the area's expected annual total (814mm).
Now, the Environment Agency says river levels are recovering and at Alverstone the water is falling by about 2cm per hour.
In Sandown, levels peaked at 5am and are now falling by about 1cm per hour.
The Environment Agency says a small amount of rain (10mm) is forecast for tomorrow night (Monday), adding although this is not expected to impact overall river levels, it could prolong the current high water.
Ditches surrounding Fort Holiday Park in Sandown could remain full for the next few days, it said.
An update is expected by 3pm tomorrow (Monday).
