The charity has got a list of items they would love to have donated. Scroll down for the list
Items can be dropped off at donation points, which include Ventnor Co-op, St Catherine’s Church, and Norris Stores in Niton.
You can also donate at the Foodbank on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at Baby Box in Victoria Street.
So far in 2023, the foodbank has fed 1,059 people (781 adults and 278 children).
The volunteers have been much busier than this time last year.
Financial donations can also be made.
Another way to support the cause is to purchase Ventnor Exchange’s Brave Island Christmas Card.
Acceptable items include: ‘Gift’ toiletries, boxes of biscuits, chocolates, sweets, mince pies, Christmas puddings, chutney, jams, peanut butter, tea bags, coffee, hot chocolate, tinned fish, sponge puddings and tinned soup.
