The body of a man was discovered by police at an address in Shanklin this morning (Wednesday, November 15), prompting investigations.
Emergency teams were called at 9.16am to concern for the welfare reports regarding a man at an address on Scinde Crescent, off North Road.
Officers attended and discovered the body of a man inside the address.
Police have been at the property all day, and a cordon remains in place.
A Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary spokesperson said: "We remain at the location, and our enquiries into the circumstances of the death are ongoing."
