A MET Office yellow weather warning for thunderstorms on the Isle of Wight today (Tuesday) has been extended.

The forecaster says heavy rain, with some thunder and possible gusty winds, may cause disruption.

The warning went live at 5am and was due to end at 11am.

It has now been extended to 3pm.
