A LARGE landslip means a rural road has been closed on the Isle of Wight.
A landslip has brought a tree and hedges down to block Shorwell Shute.
Island Roads said the road is passable on foot only, and is now closed to traffic.
Southern Vectis said: "Due to landslip on Shorwell Shute, Route 12 will be diverting through Kingston Road, Whitcombe to Cedar Hill.
"This diversion will operate in both directions until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
