A plume of black smoke off the coast at Bonchurch and Ventnor has prompted multiple emergency calls.

A handful of boats are in the area including an RNLI lifeboat, according to AIS Marine.
One eye witness reports being able to see flames.
The coastguard helicopter is on the scene.
