AN ISLE of Wight man who refutes he was unfit to drive his car after police gave him a roadside drugs impairment test, will stand trial in the New Year.
Kieran Grundy, of Scinde Crescent, Shanklin, denied driving a vehicle whilst unfit through drugs, on Station Road, Brading, on January 31.
He pleaded at the Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court on May 12.
The 48-year-old had a trial set for the same venue on July 18, but it was delayed pending expert evidence from his solicitor.
His revised trial date has been set for January 18.
