AN ISLE of Wight man accused of a string of burglaries in Ryde will stand trial next year.
David Dunford, of Thornton Manor Drive, Ryde, appeared before a judge at the Isle of Wight Crown Court on Friday, October 27.
The 42-year-old is charged with four counts of burglary, going equipped for burglary, criminal damage, and possession of a knife in a public place, on September 24.
The burglary charges relate to three business premises in the Royal Victoria Arcade and a business on Marlborough Road.
The criminal damage charge relates to graffiti on vehicles in Ryde.
Mr Dunford's case was adjourned for a trial at Portsmouth Crown Court on April 8, 2024.
He was remanded in custody.
