MEDINA Marching Band is set to perform at Christ the King College next month – presenting its Festival of Remembrance event.
It follows on from the official launch of the 2023 Poppy appeal, and will include performances from The IOW Highland Pipes and Drums and Rosie Sales.
There will also be a traditional Act of Remembrance, with a drumhead service led by the Royal British Legion County Chaplin Rev Whatley.
This will feature standard bearers from the Island’s Royal British Legion branches, as well as representatives from other military and youth organisations.
The event kickstarts at 7.30pm on Friday, November 10.
The event is now in its third year, and promises to be another moving evening packed with entertainment, with all proceeds from the night going to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
Tickets are available on Medina Marching Band's website.
