The Isle of Wight College has unveiled two new exciting educational programmes, aiming to ‘Fast Track’ students to achieve their English and Maths qualifications.

The College has announced the ‘Fast Track’ initiative for GCSE English and Maths, a comprehensive 20-week course, and the ‘Fast Track’ programme for Functional Skills English and Maths, a comprehensive 24-week curriculum, will be available to start in January.

Both programmes aim to offer students an accelerated and dynamic route to improve their language and mathematical abilities – perfect for those requiring these qualifications for a September 2024 start in higher education.

The 20-week GCSE English and Maths ‘Fast Track’ course caters to individuals aiming to achieve a grade 4.

Meanwhile, the 24-week Functional Skills England and Maths ‘Fast Track’ programme is specially designed for those aiming to work towards achieving an accredited Functional Skills qualification.

Prospective students applying for the January start classes will undergo an assessment to determine their readiness and identify any skills gaps.

Both programmes underscore the significance of robust English and Maths skills in today’s academic and professional landscapes.
