A superyacht once owned by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen has been spotted off the Isle of Wight.

Octopus has been enjoying some time in Cowes and was escorted up the River Medina by the Solent Cruises team yesterday (Saturday).

Octopus is one of the world’s largest yachts, built by Lurssen Yachts.

It is now believed to be owned by Swedish billionaire Roger Samuelsson, since 2021, and is available for charter,  which may explain its appearance in The Solent.
