Flowers have been destroyed and strewn across the floor in an Isle of Wight town centre.
Flower beds on Newport High Street have been damaged.
They were in planters just outside Boots and Superdrug.
Soil and what remains of the flowers can be seen scattered across the path this morning (Thursday).
It's believed they were destroyed overnight.
Islanders have flocked to social media to condemn the "disgusting" behaviour.
Some are suggesting the damage could have been caused by wildlife, such as foxes.
The County Press has contacted Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary for a comment.
