An Isle of Wight community hall hosted a launch party for new book, Yarmouth School : A Celebration.
The work by Heather Cooper and Jill Cowley, was introduced over tea and cake on Saturday September 9.
Among those gathered for the event, at the building in Yarmouth's St James's Street, were around one hundred past pupils, staff and their families.
The book will be available from Holdings on Quay Street in Yarmouth and will cost £15.
Yarmouth School closed to pupils in the last year and work is underway to decide its future - including making at a community asset for the town.
Mayor, Debbie McCleary, paid tribute to all who had contributed memories and photos, and who had over the years, made Yarmouth School such a special place in the heart of the community.
Yarmouth Town Council provided financial support for the printing, with proceeds from book sales being held by YTC for future community projects.
Help from the Herepath Shenton Trust was received, and the Delphie Lakeman Trust funded the tea party.
