A Met Office weather warning for thunderstorms has been cancelled.

The alert was due to come into force from 7am, until midday.

The forecaster was warning of a chance of flooding in some areas.

That warning has since been shelved, meaning there are none in place for the Island for today.

The current outlook, according to the IW service, is that thundery rain may clip the Island at times during the morning, although the majority of the thundery activity should be to the south and east.
