A charity cake sale is being held in the Isle of Wight village of Shalfleet tomorrow (Wednesday).

Money is being raised for Breast Cancer Now.

Islander Gita Gould has organised the event, at Shalfleet Village Hall.

Gita told the County Press: "I was diagnosed out of the blue with breast cancer last year and I am holding a cake sale with tombola, helped by friends to raise money for such a worthy cause whilst keeping fingers crossed for all clear scan next month."

Cakes, savoury food, and refreshments will be on offer.

The cake sale starts at 11am and will go on until 4pm.

Parking is available.
