It's the stinkiest event on the Isle of Wight calendar and it's back to be even more pungent this weekend.

The Isle of Wight Garlic Festival takes place today (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday).

This year one of the star attractions is children's TV favourite Bluey.

Since 1983, the festival has been held on the third weekend in August at The Fighting Cocks Crossroads, just outside Newchurch.

The event welcomes chefs in an open kitchen, musicians on a big stage, and arena acts.

There's stalls from local charities and businesses, and of course, garlic everything to buy - to eat there or take home - from the Isle of Wight Garlic Farm.

Chef Robert Thompson is the kitchen star again this year, and in the main arena there's dog agility to watch, plus Haven Falconry and West Wight Alpacas and Llamas.

Register your own pooch in the dog show.

If you enjoy music, head to the main stage for performances by The Missing Heads, The Hanging Baskets, Baggywrinkles, Quo Experience, The Omhz, Emellia, X-Directory, and Foo Fighterz.

We're creating a gallery of people trying out garlic products at the festival. Send us your photos of yourself or your friends or family members trying out the hot stuff and the quirky! Send to editor@iwcp.co.uk or message us on Facebook.
