Comedians Josh Widdicombe and Nish Kumar are filming their comedy TV show Hold the Front Page on the Isle of Wight - from the offices of the County Press.

The funny duo are finding out what it's like to be local reporters and have been let loose on the Island public for the task.

They have been filming at Sandown Carnival tonight, taking over the County Press's Facebook page for some... interesting... Facebook lives.

The first job for the new recruits was to find out why the Floating Bridge isn't running during Cowes Week.

They spoke to local councillor Karl Love, and you can read their article here

The show is a look at local journalism through the eyes of the celebrity cub reporters.

Series one saw the pair visiting newspapers around the country, interviewing guests, writing up stories and delivering news in their quest for a front page.

The show is aired on Sky Max and previous shows can be watched here

Did you spot the comedians in Sandown tonight?

Keep your eyes peeled as they spend the week working on the Isle of Wight.
