Find gardens galore in Arreton this weekend, as the owners of some of the lovely homes in the village open their gates to visitors.

Arreton Open Gardens Day takes place on Sunday, July 30th, from midday until 4.30pm and five gardens will be taking part.

The Old Vicarage, Spreets Rew, Horringford House and Station House will be showing off their plants, pavements, lawns and more.

Historic Haseley Manor will be hosting a plant sale and serving cream teas (and you can find some toilets open to visitors here, too).

Meanwhile, The Coach House, next to The Old Vicarage, will also be serving tea.

Children are free, but adults will need to have bought a £5 programme to enter and these can be found at all of the gardens taking part, or at Arreton post office.

Money is being raised for Isle of Wight Scouts, as well as a charity which supports the victims of domestic abuse, Wight Dash.

Parking is free - just follow the signs to the community area
