The Isle of Wight's carnival season continues this evening (Wednesday, August 2), with Shanklin's main procession.

UPDATE: The carnival has been cancelled, organisers have confirmed.

The Island town promises an evening of excitement and enjoyment for the whole family, with loads of floats, dancers and music.

Underway at 7pm, from Popham Road near Big Mead park, there is no judging, as this carnival is non-competitive.
