AN ISLE of Wight man accused of multiple serious offences, including two counts of sexual assault, will stand trial next year.
David Yates, of Spanners Close, Chale Green, appeared before a judge at the Isle of Wight Crown Court on Thursday, July 6.
The 42-year-old denied two counts of sexual assault on a female aged 16 or over, three counts of ill treatment of a child or young person, and a single count of engaging in controlling or coercive behaviour.
The charges relate to dates between January 24, 2010, and March 25, 2022.
Mr Yates saw his case adjourned for a trial on May 13, 2024, at the same venue.
He was granted conditional bail.
