WHEN you are out and about around the Isle of Wight this coming week, be sure to know which roadworks to avoid.

Thanks to Island Roads, we have provided a handy selection of some worth avoiding.

FRESHWATER: Copse Lane will be shut for utility works, between its junctions with Regina Road and Church Place, from 8am on Thursday until 5pm on Saturday, July 8.

EAST COWES: Grenville Close will be shut for utility works, along its entire length, from 8am in Monday until 6.30pm on Wednesday.

BRADING: Lower Furlongs will be shut for utility works, along its entire length, from 8am on Monday until 6pm on Wednesday.
Also, The Mall will be shut for utility works, between its junctions with Bulley's Hill and New Road, from 8am on Tuesday until 6pm on Friday, August 11.
Lower Road will be shut for carriageway repairs, between its junctions with Sheep Lane and Morton Manor Road, between 8am and 4pm on Tuesday.

NITON: Barrack Shute will be shut for carriageway repairs, along its entire length, between 9.30am and 4.30pm, from Tuesday until Thursday.
Also, Undercliff Drive will be shut for carriageway repairs, between its junctions with Barrack Shute and St Catherine's Road.

NEWPORT: Holyrood Street will be shut for gully and carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Medina Way and Riverway, between 7.30pm and 11pm daily, from Tuesday until Thursday.
Also, Castle Road will be shut for utility works, between its junctions with Clarendon Street and Carisbrooke Road, between 9.30am and 3.30pm on Thursday. 

ROOKLEY: Highwood Lane will be shut for street furniture repairs, along its entire length, between 7.30am and 3.30pm daily, from Wednesday until Friday, July 7.

RYDE: East Street will be shut for carriageway repairs, from its junction with Monkton Street, between 8am and 4pm daily on Monday and Tuesday.

BEMBRIDGE: Sandown Road will be shut during drainage surveying works, between its junctions with Bembridge Road and Hillway Road, between 9.30am and 3.30pm daily, from Tuesday to Thursday.
