A charity walk raising money for those affected by sight loss and blindness returns to the Isle of Wight today (Sunday).

Hopefully to Seaview is taking place in aid of Retina UK.

The previous four events have raised more than £31,000 for the charity.

Money helps fund research into sight loss and blindness.

Before the walk gets underway, there will be a fun day at the Alamo restaurant, on Ryde seafront.

It starts from midday.

The walk, which begins at around 1.30pm, will see participants head to Seaview, from Ryde, and back again.

Entertainment will continue into the evening.

It costs £10 to register and this includes a t-shirt and medal, plus a complimentary buffet and entertainment at the Alamo.

Non-participants can join for the evening for a donation of £10.

The five-mile walk is an annual event organised by IW group volunteers Colin and Linda McArthur.
